The Dickson County school system is dedicated to providing the best possible education for children in Dickson County. Located 30 miles west of Nashville in Middle Tennessee, Dickson County ranks 40th in size and 31st in population. The school system of Dickson County is the 22nd largest district (of 136 total) in the State of Tennessee with approximately 8500 students enrolled.
